Halle Berry has slammed the paparazzi for ignoring her pleas not to snap pictures of her baby daughter Nahla. The actress is fiercely protective of her 20-month-old baby girl, with partner Gabriel Aubry – and has had a turbulent relationship with photographers since becoming a mom. Berry now insists she has had enough of flashbulbs following her little girl, and has hit out at snappers for having such little respect for celebrity parents and their children. She says, “It has become horrifying… What they’re doing to children, it’s not right. And I know nobody has a lot of sympathy for celebrities because we’re blessed in so many ways. But these children should not be objectified. To be hunted down, it is flat out wrong.” |
All of us have to understand that taking an innocent look at these pictures of Halle with his daughter spoil her everyday life. These are not naïve family pictures but a hunt. It would be fair and an act of respect here on Halle Berry Fan Site to boycott every picture with her daughter. What do you think Connie?
I’ve come across many pics with Nahla that I haven’t posted and have often thought of getting rid of Nahla pictures all together. Halle has said more than ones that she doesn’t like it and I would like to honour her wish of no paparazzi pictures with Nahla.
I’ll think some more about it Pierre ;)
Thank you Connie! Your website is very exhaustive so I imagine it’s not so evident. For some ones, giving a selective view of a celebrity could be interpreted as a disguised promotion. Establishing ethic boundaries is a delicate subject. Halle is very generous and, I think, sincere about her private life. Some people interpret this sincerity as immodesty and as a justification of a no boundaries voyeurism. Your website shows up that people can admiring Halle’s personality beyond her actress statute and respects her life as an act of care of. :)
